Structural Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Deep Beams with Inclined Circular Holes

چکیده

The loads in the deep beams are transmitted diagonally from load area to support by means of strut and tie. It is characterized having a small span depth ratio. which causes distribution stresses be non-linear within beam, motivates researchers study effect placing longitudinal hollows extent these holes affect behavior for types beams. In addition advantages added hollow beam such as reducing weight passing various electrical mechanical services...etc. This investigated making circular (with diameter 50mm) with slope on structural three solid sample reference where used was 0%, 4.3%, 7.8%. results showed that reduces capacity decrease failure observed 7.56%, 8.96%, 11.2% 7.8%, respectively. Also, appearance flexural cracking increased 2.66%, 6.66%.and 2.14%, 3.52%, 7.14%, respectively, shear cracks. While neutral axis location well vertical deflection.
